It's national holiday over here in Germany and no fireworks, no barbeques, no parties, no parades, no fleets, no air shows, no sappy songs of national pride, no good natured flag waving, no silly hats, no moments of collectively loving the place you're at, even if it's a collective frustration of where things are going? Just somber speeches, awkward ceremonies and the usual George A. Romero style Oktoberfest debauchery in Munich, because that Bavarian barbarian thing's kinda politically correct? Ja, ja, ja, we lost the war. I know.We really don't like the place we live in, do we?
