This is the coming summer hit for this year in France and possibly greater Europe including the Balearic isles. DJ duo Justice is one of the acts on Paris based label Ed Banger (like headbanger with a French accent, got it? Tell you, they're funny, those French), who got famous for their ecstatic parties. All sounds like the second coming of Daft Punk to me, who incidentially are on tour again and featured on Kanye West's new single, so I guess late 90s French Eurodisco's the revival du jour.

Now this is what happens when you try to record a track without Pharrell, Timbaland or The Pianoman. Awful.
Seems like Common ("The People") has the best lines so far:
"Why white folks focus on dogs and yoga
While people on the low end tryin to ball and get over"
(The video's also much better: http://youtube.com/watch?v=WwT_aSfTOXU)
(AK should really dig that video!)
I do dig. Righteous! Although I have to admit to be a sucker for nostaliga, so here are my latest Youtube finds:

Awesome, thanks a lot. You (and, ahem, "JoFi") really are the Last Feuilleton Soul Rebel(s).
I know I might sound ridiculous with this one, but how's life as a white guy in Brooklyn? Especially regarding your last trip and comparing it with your first years in NY?
And keeping the links coming, one of my all-time favs: http://youtube.com/watch?v=qQfVte5nfg0
Being white somehow never came up as an issue while living in Brooklyn. Neither in Carroll Gardens, nor in Red Hook or at Gleason's.
